Engine 30 Detroit Fire Captain, Ronald Mitchell, has made it all the way to the semifinals on the FOX game show, “ 99 to beat ,” airing tonight, Wednesday, December 3 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Mitchell started off as one of 100 contestants on the game show where the only goal is to not finish last in each contest, one more wacky than the other. 15 contestants remain with the last person standing winning $1 million.

Fellow Engine 30 firefighter, Donnell Clayton, was also a contestant on the show, but was eliminated with 70 contestants remaining.
