MUSKEGON, MI - Muskegon’s long-running holiday tradition is returning for its 41st year this week.
Standing tall at 67 feet, the Mona Shores Singing Christmas Tree features nearly 300 students from the Mona Shores Choir performing an eclectic jazz mix of seasonal favorites.
The beloved annual event kicks off Dec. 3-6 at the Frauenthal Center in downtown Muskegon.
Audiences will experience a unique holiday celebration in a historic setting with 25,000 lights and 15 tiers of music.
Tickets range from $21.50 to $24.50 and sell quickly, so plan to secure your seats ahead of time.
Inspired by a California production, choir parent Dave Anderson initially pitched the idea of the live spectacle to director Guy “Skip” Frizzell during the 1980s.
