A Kingston woman who owns IMODE, a clothing store in the city’s downtown, said she wants to clear the air after a video that involved her and a homeless man went viral online.

The video, which was taken by a passerby, shows the store owner, Sherry Dadmand, pouring a bucket of water onto the sidewalk in front of her business which happened to be directly beside a homeless man. The water is then swept towards the road by a woman with a broom.

The person who posted the video to Reddit , Diligent-Listen4570, accused Dadmand of dumping “two buckets of water” directly on the individual calling it “unacceptable and unjustifiable”.

Their negative comments are then followed by hundreds of others and shares across other social media platforms.
