President Donald Trump dubbed himself the ‘THE AFFORDABILITY PRESIDENT’ in a Truth Social post on Saturday, Nov. 29.

But a recent poll from Yahoo/YouGov found that almost half of Americans (49%) say Trump is doing more to raise prices than to lower them (24%)

The data from the survey paints a picture of a country that believes current prices are too high.

Of those who responded to the survey, 79% say that compared to a few years ago, they are paying more money for the same goods and services.

Six out of 10 Americans (60%) say inflation is getting worse in the country. Inflation data for the month of October was not released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics due to a lapse in government funding.
