NEW ORLEANS — The Audubon Institute has paused membership sales. This comes after pushback over a decision to increase prices.
A stating they're working on cost-effective alternatives.
The organization says more affordable options are coming by mid-December. Anyone who bought a membership since Nov. 28 will be contacted and can choose a different plan if they want.
Currently, an individual membership starts at $125, while a deluxe family package called the "Audubon Krewe Membership" starts at $625.
On Tuesday, Audubon Institute released a statement addressing membership prices:
