“Mad Men” is now available to stream on HBO Max , but you’ve never seen the period drama quite like this before.
A new 4K version of the Emmy-winning series, which originally aired on AMC from 2007 to 2015, hit HBO Max on Monday, Dec. 1. It didn’t take long for viewers to notice some bizarre errors with the remastered version.
The most glaring example is a scene from episode 7 of season 1, titled “Red in the Face,” when Roger Sterling (John Slattery) vomits on the carpet after eating too many oysters. In the HBO Max version, two crew members can be seen standing behind Slattery, operating the fake vomit machine.
