JoAnn Ringel Corey was born on July 13, 1934, in Ogden, Utah, to her parents Joseph and Margaret Ringel. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on December 1, 2025, returning home to her Heavenly Father and many loved ones who surely welcomed her with open arms.

She married the love of her life, Gerald Corey, on December 27, 1952. Their love story was truly beautiful—one built on patience, tenderness, and complete devotion. Jerry remained faithfully by her side throughout her life, and especially during her final days, making sure his sweetheart was comfortable and surrounded with love.
