Brockville police say quick co-operation between civilians and local police agencies led to the quick arrest of two men accused of stealing a pickup truck from a north-end dealership.
At about 9:10 p.m. on Monday, the Brockville Police Service got a call from a concerned driver who was nearly struck by a 2026 GMC Sierra pickup truck as it was driven out of the parking lot of the Riverside GM dealership on Stewart Boulevard, police said Wednesday.

The truck had been stolen from the dealership, and the suspects sped off, cutting off other motorists before leaving Brockville eastbound along Highway 401, police added.
