Legendary Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman L.C. Greenwood is a finalist for the 2026 Hall of Fame Seniors category, the furthest he has ever been in the process.
In 40 years of eligibility for the Hall of Fame, Greenwood has never been selected a finalist. He is one of three finalists that will be voted on by the selection committee to earn his induction into the Hall of Fame.
All players whose final season was before 2000 are considered by the senior committee, and Greenwood has long been a topic of discussion. He, along with Bengals quarterback Ken Anderson and 49ers running back Roger Craig, make up the three finalists put up by the senior committee.
