Collier Book admitted that his recruiting process was frustrating at times, although one sterling workout altered the landscape for the once timid defensive lineman.
“Week 3 of my junior year, coach moved me to offensive line. In that offseason, tons of coaches were coming in and talking to me,” said Book, now a brutish 6-6, 265-pounds.
“None of them really wanted to pull the trigger, though.”
Book continued to ride the camp circuit before a scheduled workout for Delaware, which offered the senior-to-be and ignited a flurry of activity for one of the top returning linemen in the Mid-Penn Conference.
Book made sure he would start his final season with the Rams by locking in his commitment to the first-year FBS program.
He made it official Wednesday, signing to compete with the Blue Hen
