KENTWOOD, Mich. — A man is in custody on charges of OWI and a woman is seriously hurt after a crash on Tuesday morning, according to the Kentwood Police Department.

Around 7:30 a.m., officers responded to a crash near Shaffer and Wingate Avenue SE in Kentwood.

Police said a Nissan Sentra, driven by a 41-year-old woman, was headed north on Shaffer Avenue near Wingate Avenue when it crashed with both a northbound Nissan Titan, driven by a 29-year-old man, and a southbound Ford F250 with a trailer attached, driven by a 42-year-old man.

The driver of the Nissan Sentra was taken to the hospital and is in serious but stable condition.

The driver of the Nissan Titan was investigated for driving under the influence. He's being held on charges of OWI and driving while his license was suspended
