Lorelai Gilmore is planning a cozy trip to Stars Hollow.
Well, at least on paper. Nearly two decades after Gilmore Girls ended, the show’s lead actor Lauren Graham announced she and creator Amy Sherman Palladino are co-writing a book based on the series.
“Because we love you, Amy and I are working on a new Gilmore Girls book,” Lauren, 58, wrote on her Dec. 3 Instagram post , adding several throwback photos of her and costar Alexis Bledel on the set of the CW drama. “Get your coffee ready!”
The untitled book will be published by Celadon Books, a division of Macmillan. As for what fans can expect from the plot? A press release confirmed the project will detail how the “small-town dramedy with mile-a-minute dialogue became a cultural touchstone.”
