Rs 1–25 lakh compensation for police, CAPF, defence personnel, employees, civilians for death, disabilities, injuries

Jammu Tawi, Dec 3: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday issued a consolidated set of instructions for sanctioning ex-gratia relief under Security Related Expenditure (SRE) for persons affected by law-and-order disturbances.

The General Administration Department has issued an order in this regard after taking the approval from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

As per the order, the revised structure covers magistrates, police personnel, paramilitary forces, government employees, civilians and others.
