Extend every possible support to persons with disabilities

Jammu Tawi, Dec 3: Asserting that serving persons with disabilities is an act of virtue that brings “punyas” and reflects the administration’s commitment to inclusive development, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday urged officers to extend every possible support to divyangjan citizens.

Addressing “International Day of Persons with Disabilities” event here, LG Sinha said, “Assisting divyangjan must not be treated as a routine administrative task but as a moral responsibility. Providing help to divyangjan will fetch more punyas (virtues). Officers must ensure that no effort is spared in supporting them.”
