The Tulare County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that happened near Lindsay on Tuesday.

Just before 5 p.m. Tuesday TCSO Deputies were called to the 24000 Block of Avenue 236 near Lindsay for a shooting.

When they arrived, Deputies learned a 23-year-old man had been outside when a car pulled up and someone inside the car shot him in the chest.

Deputies and Emergency Personnel performed life-saving measures, but the victim died at the scene.

TCSO Homicide Detectives headed to the area to take over the investigation.
