A Netflix TV star has passed away at just 45 years old, having urged supporters before her death not to "stay in the darkness of this moment".

Criscilla Anderson had been battling bowel cancer for seven years. The Country Ever After celebrity's passing was announced through Instagram, in a post that featured her final words to admirers.

She expressed: "If you're reading this, I've finally slipped into the arms of Jesus - peacefully and surrounded by love. Please don't stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone... I'm Home."
