The third season of revived HBO series “ The Comeback ” has revealed a first-look image at Lisa Kudrow back in action as actress Valerie Cherish, alongside the news that Andrew Scott is joining the cast. “The Comeback” will premiere in March and revolves around Valerie being cast in the first-ever sitcom written by AI.

The announcement was made by HBO chief Casey Bloys, Kudrow and “The Comeback” co-creator Michael Patrick King during HBO Max’s 2026 global programming slate presentation in London on Wednesday night. “Fleabag” and “Blue Moon” star Scott will be playing the head of a studio in the series alongside Kudrow, with other returning cast members including Dan Bucatinsky (who plays Val’s publicist), Laura Silverman (reality show producer, Jane) and Damian Young (Mark, Valeri
