FARGO — With an arctic blast hitting the F-M metro, the three Fargo Public Library locations have set up their annual "mitten trees," ready to accept donations of cold weather gear to be given to community members in need this season.

According to a joint release from the library and the city, donations of new or very gently used and cleaned cold weather gear such as mittens, gloves, hats, scarves and socks, including both handmade and purchased items are welcome.
