TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A South Valley organization is seeking people for its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, or VITA, program.

Community Services Employment Training puts on the program that provides tax preparation and electronic filing services at no cost to Tulare and Kings County residents.

Those eligible must make less than $69,000 yearly.

For the 2025 tax season, we're told around 100 volunteers will be needed to serve as IRS-certified tax preparers.

No prior experience is necessary to volunteer, and your help may show families they qualify for credits and savings.
