Penn State placed three players on the All-Big Ten third-team defense and special teams, it was announced Wednesday.
Defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton was voted to the third team by the coaches and media panels. Linebacker Amare Campbell was selected by the media, and punter Gabe Nwosu by the coaches.
In addition, defensive tackle Zane Durant, cornerbacks A.J. Harris and Audavion Collins and safety Zakee Wheatley received honorable mention.
Kick returner Nick Singleton, kicker Ryan Barker and long snapper Tyler Duzansky also made the honorable mention list.
Duzansky earlier this week was named one of the three finalists for the Mannelly Award, which goes to the nation’s top long snapper. Georgia’s Beau Gardner and North Carolina’s Spencer Triplett are the other finalists.
