A winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 12:51 p.m. valid from 9 p.m. until Thursday 4 p.m. for St. Lawrence County.
"Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "Heaviest snowfall is expected to be near US Route 11 and south of NY Route 58. Additional, more scattered snow showers will be possible outside of the lake-effect snow band."
"Plan on slippery road conditions and snow covered roads, along with areas of blowing and drifting snow further reducing visibility.
