COLUMBIA, S.C. — High pressure will continue to build in the Midlands , bringing dry weather through the day on Wednesday. Thursday will see increasing cloud cover before more rainfall at the end of the week.
Today will be a cooler afternoon with temperatures only warming up to the low to mid 50s. Lingering clouds have kept cooler weather lingering into the afternoon, but some sun is expected later in the day.
Tonight will be mostly clear with temperatures falling into the low 30s overnight. Many areas in the Midlands could see temperatures falling below freezing.
Thursday, mostly cloudy conditions will return, but the day will stay mostly dry. Only a stray shower or two are possible during the evening.
