INDIANAPOLIS — The stage is set for the 15th annual Big Ten football championship at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The top two teams in the nation, Ohio State University and Indiana University, will square off at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.
Ticket sales show thousands of football fans will take over downtown wearing scarlet and crimson.
"There will be a lot of red, just a couple different shades," said Sam Reel, with Indiana Sports Corp. "This is the first time that IU has played in the Big Ten Football championship game. Ohio State hasn't been here in several years, so just making sure that we deliver the best product possible is really top of mind right now."
