A 17-year-old youth from Cornwall was arrested on Dec. 1 and charged with mischief — destroys or damages property; failure to comply with probation order; break and enter a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence; theft under $5,000; possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000; uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm; assault, and criminal harassment — threatening conduct.
Cornwall police alleged the youth damaged property at a church in September. Police further alleged the youth attended an address he was prohibited from visiting on Nov. 25, broke into the residence, and stole items. On Nov. 21, the youth assaulted an individual known to him and threatened to kill him.
