A new report that ranks hundreds of Ontario’s secondary schools has given mixed results to local institutions.
The Fraser Institute’s Report Card on Ontario Secondary Schools ranked 747 public, Catholic and independent schools based on academic indicators derived from provincewide test results in the 2023-24 school year.

“Our report cards offer parents information they can’t easily get anywhere else about how their child’s school performs and how it compares to other schools in Ontario,” said Paige MacPherson, a senior fellow with the Fraser Institute.
