GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WILX) - The long wait is finally over for Lue Yang and his family.

Yang, the St. Johns man who had been in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement since July, has been released.

Yang, a Hmong refugee who legally came to the U.S. in the wake of the Vietnam War, was bused from an ICE facility in Baldwin, Mich., to Grand Rapids on Wednesday afternoon, where he was greeted by his family and others who advocated for his release.
