NEW YORK — Massive snack company Mondelēz Global LLC recalled 70 cases of Ritz crackers due to a labeling error.
The recall , issued Nov. 28, affects a limited amount of RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches which may be mislabeled as cheese flavored. It extends to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Alabama.
The outer packaging is labeled properly as peanut butter sandwiches, but the individual wrapped sleeves of cracker sandwiches inside may be mislabeled, the voluntary recall said.
The recall is specifically for a 20-count box with Retail UPC "44000 07584 2" and a "best by" date of Jan. 8, 2026 or Jan. 15, 2026. No other Ritz product is impacted, the company said in the recall.
