Democratic lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee have released 10 new photos and videos from Jeffrey Epstein’s private Caribbean island, offering a rare look inside the secluded property at the centre of long-running trafficking and abuse allegations.

The material, made public on Wednesday, includes 10 photographs and four videos showing rooms inside Epstein’s residence on Little St James in the US Virgin Islands, where he is alleged to have abused and exploited underage girls.

The images, which some US media reported were taken in 2020, the year after Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail while awaiting trial, appear to be law enforcement documentation gathered by authorities in the US Virgin Islands.
