MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A Madison man is accused of his eighth suspected OWI, Dane County officials reported Wednesday.
At around 2 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy with the Sheriff’s Office pulled over a Ford van on Alvarez Avenue in Blooming Grove.
Gerald M. Parks, 68, was allegedly drunk and in violation of a court-ordered interlock ignition device, the agency stated.
Officials said the vehicle was registered to a driver whose license had been revoked.
Dane Co. authorities arrested the Madison man and took him to Dane County Jail on a tentative felony charge of operating while under the influence- 8th offense.
He also received citations for operating while revoked, failure to install an IID and a probation violation.
