BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The first snowstorm of the season is now in the rearview mirror. Our attention will turn towards a brief blast of Arctic air Thursday night and into Friday.
Before that, clouds will be on the rise tonight with lows that will drop into the teens and 20s. Be cautious of any spots that saw some melting today as this cloud lead to some areas of black ice overnight.
Thursday will have a cold front sweeping across the region. The front will move into the northwest by midmorning and will clear the coast by early afternoon. Along the front, a few snow showers and even snow squalls will be possible. What is more concerning will be the Arctic air moving in behind it.
