GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Jon Sumrall is retaining defensive standouts like Myles Graham and reuniting with a Kentucky teammate to revitalize the Gator defense, and why the Gators retained five defensive recruits on National Signing Day.

Sumrall’s first hire is Kentucky defensive coordinator Brad White, according to Graham Hall of Gators 24/7. During his tenure with the Wildcats, four of his seven seasons. White had a defense in the top 25.

White and Sumrall coached together at Lexington for three years before taking the Troy job. And while Ron Roberts did an admirable job.
