NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man was charged after crashing into a person’s car on the interstate and driving away, according to an arrest affidavit.

On Tuesday, Dec. 2, officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department were called to a crash on Interstate 24 near Antioch Pike.

According to the arrest report, Micah Dean rear-ended a vehicle.

The victim recorded the interaction with Dean and shared it with police. In the video, Dean had slurred speech and was grabbing for the victim’s phone while they were on the phone with 911, police said.

Dean reportedly grabbed the victim’s arm by the wrist and appeared to strike at them before entering his vehicle and driving away, police said.

As Dean drove away, police said he sideswiped the car while the victim was standing next to it.
