One person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries the night of Dec. 2 after they were attacked near the intersection of Oak Alley and East 10th Avenue in downtown Eugene.
A suspect remains at large and the Eugene Police Department is investigating.
According to Melinda McLaughlin, spokesperson for the Eugene Police Department, officers responded to area around 10 p.m. Reports indicated a man attacked another man and fled from Oak Alley towards Willamette Street.
Officers rendered aid to the victim, a man in his 40s, on scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital by the Eugene Springfield Fire Department.
