WASHINGTON — Variety has released its next lineup of "Actors on Actors" interviews, with the first episode set to release Friday, Dec. 5.

The talk show, now in its 23rd season, features actors chatting one-on-one about their work, craft and creative processes.

Actors engage in intimate one-on-one discussions, providing insight into the creative process and what it takes to hone the craft of acting. Some actors have things or roles in common while others seem like totally random matchups.

This season, in order of release, includes interviews between:

Dec. 5: Adam Sandler and Ariana Grande. The duo have not yet worked together but Grande has publicly praised Sandler's work .

Dec. 6: Julia Roberts and Sean Penn. The two are longtime friends and most recently starred together
