Alyssa Farah Griffin 's view is focused on getting better.

The View co-host addressed why she's been MIA from the daytime talk show for three consecutive days, explaining that she's been "down sick with a stomach virus."

"It’s no fun being sick while 6 ½+ months pregnant," Alyssa, who is expecting her first baby with husband Justin Griffin 's first baby together, wrote on her Instagram Story Dec. 3. "Remember it’s that time of year—be smart, use hand sanitizer, stay home if you’re sick."

The 36-year-old added that she "will hopefully be back" for The View 's Dec. 4 episode.

But Alyssa hasn't been the only co-host who's been absent lately. After all, Whoopi Goldberg returned to the Hot Topics table on Dec. 1 following a two-week break .
