ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
An Albuquerque man will now spend 10 months in prison after using social media to issue violent threats against the president.
According to court documents, Tyler Leveque, 38, made a series of social media posts threatening to kill then-President-elect Donald Trump.
In a TikTok video posted on Jan. 2, Leveque made statements including his disdain for several people and groups of people. Some of the threats that Leveque made on social media included stating that he did not care if he died and that his willingness to die should frighten people the most.
At the end of a social media video, he was seen taunting, "Run, run."
Leveque also made threats the following day on X against President Trump and on Jan. 4 on Facebook.
