A Nederland man was arrested Monday after police say he sexually assaulted a woman who had just begun working for him.

Michael Foster, 51, turned himself in to the Boulder County Jail on a warrant for four counts of sexual assault – no consent.

The woman met Foster on May 31 and started working for him July 5, helping him sell hot sauce at the Nederland farmer’s market, according to an arrest affidavit.

That night, Foster asked the woman if she wanted to hang out and she invited him to a residence, where the pair spent time with a third person.

When that person went to bed, Foster started kissing the woman and she told him “no” and that she “didn’t want it,” according to the affidavit.

Foster then digitally penetrated the woman and forced her to have oral sex and intercourse with him,
