Police have arrested a Connecticut man after receiving a tip that he had child sexual abuse material.
Dylan Taylor, 25, of Newington, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 3, and charged with first-degree possession of child sexual abuse material, Newington police said. He was released after posting a $150,000 bond.
Detectives began investigating Taylor following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which tracks child sexual abuse material and where it is shared.
Newington police searched Taylor's electronic devices and found the illegal content, authorities said.
Police ask anyone with information about this case or any other potential exploitation to contact the Newington Police Department.
Tips can also be submitted through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at www.CyberTipline.org.
Taylor is expected in court on Dec. 17.
