’Tis the season for ice cream! At least, it is if you want to celebrate the holiday season with a daily treat.

Local ice cream shops offered advent or 12 Days of Christmas calendars to keep the spirits bright this month.

Lolly’s, which has multiple locations in Virginia Beach and Norfolk, and Mad Batter Confections and Cones in Suffolk sold out of their advent calendars before Thanksgiving. Lolly’s featured 12 scoops of its most popular flavors, and Mad Batter had 24 tastes.

But Hilton Creamery has its $24.99 countdown box of 12 single-servings available to pre-order through Monday (or until sold out).
