A New Jersey prison guard is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a South Jersey detention facility, authorities announced Wednesday.
Sebastian Flores-Huamani , a 24-year-old Mays Landing resident, was charged with second-degree sexual assault and second-degree official misconduct, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said in a press release.
Investigators said Flores-Huamani entered the woman’s cell on the pretense of providing her with soap, then raped her in the cell , according to BreakingAC. Video shows him walking into her cell and then leaving 13 minutes later, police said.
The woman reported the alleged assault on Sept. 4 , the same day Flores-Huamani entered her cell, prosecutors said. Cops obtained Flores-Huamani’s DNA on Sept. 24, and matched it with DNA found
