Police are investigating a road rage incident that led to the alleged stabbing of a 37-year-old man in Makiki on Tuesday night.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene at 1322 Kinau St. at 10:07 p.m. to treat a man apparently stabbed in the upper body.

Paramedics treated the man’s wounds and took him to a hospital in serious condition.

“The assault that occurred appears to have stemmed from a road-range incident between the individuals involved,” said HPD in a statement. “The case is currently under investigation, and we are still gathering information. At this time, we do not have any suspect details to release to the public.”
