YAKIMA, Wash. - A Wapato man has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for his role in the murder of Rosenda Strong, according to a press release from U.S. Attorney Pete Serrano.

Andrew Norris Zack, 43, pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact in Strong's 2018 murder and to possessing a firearm as a felon in 2019. He helped dispose of Strong's body by placing it in a freezer and dumping it near Toppenish.

U.S. Attorney Serrano said, "Rosenda Strong was ruthlessly murdered. This Defendant was part of trying to keep that murder silenced." He emphasized the importance of justice for Strong's family.

Jamaal Antwan Pimms, who also assisted in concealing the crime, was sentenced to 26 months in prison earlier this year. Other co-defendants, including the alleged kille
