It’s state championship week in Pennsylvania high school football.

The quest for a 2025 PIAA state title has reached the last round, as the finals in all classifications will be played Dec. 4-6 at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg.

In Class 1A, the championship has come down to Bishop Guilfoyle vs. Clairton.

The winner will be crowned as the 2025 PIAA 1A state champion.

Bishop Guilfoyle heads into the game with a chance to repeat as 1A champions. In the way is a hard-hitting WPIAL champion in Clairton, which is riding a 14-game win streak.
