Rojas’s MLB odyssey began in 2014 with the Dodgers, where the Venezuelan shortstop debuted as a defensive specialist before a trade to the Miami Marlins the following offseason. Over eight seasons in Miami, he evolved into a reliable everyday infielder, peaking in 2019 with a .285 average and 137 hits while anchoring the lineup from the leadoff spot.
