MOSES LAKE, Wash — The Moses Lake School District said Wednesday that it has filed paperwork in Superior Court to try and stop the ongoing teachers' strike and force employees back to work.
MLSD says there will be a hearing on the case later this week.
Meanwhile, classes are canceled for a fourth straight day on Thursday, Dec. 4, in Moses Lake.
Right now, teachers are on strike while the Education Association and the school district work on a new contract. On Tuesday, the education association gave the district a proposal.
The district says it's reviewing the proposal and preparing a response. MLSD says there are a few things the two parties still disagree on, like prep time and funding for educational programs.
