MESQUITE, Texas — The triage nurse who was accused of ignoring a woman in active labor at Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite is no longer employed there, hospital officials said in a statement.

WFAA previously spoke with Kashena Manuel, who, on the evening of Nov. 10 captured video of her daughter, Kiara, in labor at Dallas Regional Medical Center. The video shows Kiara yelling in pain while a triage nurse asked her questions about her medical history, WFAA previously reported .
