WASHINGTON COUNTY, Oregon — A Washington County mother of five is asking for the public’s help after her family vehicle was stolen during a morning crime spree.
Pamela Cyr said she was getting ready to leave her home Tuesday when she realized her 2018 Toyota Highlander was no longer in the driveway.
“It was right here,” Cyr said. “So, imagine me holding my toddler looking out the window, thinking, 'I’ve just got to grab my shoes, I’m on my way to work, I’m on my way to daycare, it’s gone.'”
Cyr said her daughter’s vehicle, also parked in the driveway, had been entered as well, with several items stolen. The pair went door to door asking neighbors if they had been targeted, only to learn that thieves had attempted to break into multiple vehicles throughout their Bethany-area neighborhood
