LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
St. Xavier High School linebacker Karsten Busch made it official on Wednesday, signing with the University of Miami.
Busch had verbally committed to UofL in March but decommitted last week.
"Miami is just the place to be," Busch said. "As soon as I got there, met all the coaches, Coach Cristobal and all them, I just knew that that was the place for me. It's a really nice place, it's more than just sunshine and warm weather and the beach, it's a really good place for your development and growth."
Busch admitted that in the current state of college athletics, relationships are big, but there is also a monetary factor to recruiting.
