LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Wednesday's Child and the Knights of Columbus hosted their annual holiday party, providing foster children with gifts and a sense of community as they celebrate the season together.
Thirteen-year-old Estefani Siccano expressed her excitement about her upcoming adoption, saying, "Hopefully my adoption goes well—I'm going to ask for that for Christmas." She added, "It's really exciting knowing that a family actually wants me for who I am and not people who just get me to like, be famous or look cool."
Seventeen-year-old Lorenzo Betts shared his feelings about the event, stating, "It's really cool. It's something that I've never really experienced before and it's something I want to be able to provide for somebody else in the future."
