HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Some of the states best football players put pen to paper Wednesday.
It’s part of early signing day announcing where they’ll be playing next season.
At Kamehameha Kapalama, star tight end Taimane Purcell signed with Cal.
“Even though there’s coaching changes being made, I think they established a good culture up there, especially with some of the Hawaii boys like Jaron and Aiden,” said Purcell.
Warriors offensive lineman Malakai Lee made it official with Michigan.
“These last couple of months have been very hard recruiting wise, you know, schools trying to flip you but finally in this moment, I have a guarantee, I’m going to be a Michigan man,” said Lee.
At Saint Louis School, quarterback Nainoa Lopes and offensive lineman Kamoi Huihui-White signed with Cal
